Biography:

John Walker, also known as U.S. Agent, is a complex character in the Marvel Universe. His first appearance was in Captain America #323 (November 1986) as Super-Patriot.

Initially introduced as an antagonist representing extreme nationalism, Walker was later chosen to succeed Steve Rogers as Captain America after Rogers resigned. This transition, however, proved challenging as Walker struggled to embody Captain America's ideals, becoming increasingly brutal and unstable.

Stripped of the Captain America title, he was rebranded as U.S. Agent, working for the government and often undertaking morally ambiguous missions. Despite his flaws and controversial actions, Walker is a skilled fighter and possesses enhanced strength and agility thanks to a super-soldier serum.
